Welded high carbon steel screens are very hard and abrasive resistant.  Up to .375" diameter, the wire is 500 Brinell hardness and above .375" it is over 400 Brinell.  Unique, abrasive resistant stainless steel is also available.

Welded screens are used to size material in the aggregate, slag, coke, recycle and coal markets and for security applications.
